We can print out any tax forms under 10 pages for free at the Info Desk.

Free Community-based Tax-Aide

AARP (at the Library)

Starting January 20th, you may book an appointment for AARP Tax-Aide by calling or visiting the Info Desk. Booking is required as walk-ins are not permitted under any circumstances.

Appointments run from February 6th to April 3rd every Thursday.

Appointments are no longer available. Very few appointments remain. We do not recommend only applying to our waitlist, as there is no guarantee an appointment can be made available. Waitlist can also be very short notice (as short as one hour). Please check other AARP sites along with other free tax aide programs from Triton College’s RSVP, College of Dupage and LadderUp’s TAP.

Triton RSVP

Triton’s Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) will begin appointments in February.

Call (708) 456-0300, ext. 3895, Monday thru Friday, 9 AM to 3 PM.

College of DuPage

The College of DuPage may be able to assist you with their free tax prep service.

Visit their website to schedule an appointment starting in February.

LadderUp TAP

LadderUp’s Tax Assistance Program (TAP) may be able to assist you with their walk-in service.

You may be able to find additional Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) or Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs.
